My Dad is almost 90 and paids all the bills. The last time my Dad was in the hospital my ex didn't call any of us(me, my brother or sister) because my father told him not to. Help.

There is nothing to help you with. Your father has made his intentions clear. He has selected someone other than you and your siblings to be there to take care of things. If you think your ex is up to something foul, then go to court. If not, get over it. He's just providing better care than you and your siblings can. That's gotta suck!

Contact an attorney and have your father checked out for competency. He could have done the power of attorney under duress. You and your sibling(s) should be in agreement and do this together. Also, why is your ex so important to your father?

Call an attorney, pronto. He may have made him power of attorney under duress, and you can then have it reversed. It is definitely something you want to address as soon as possible, and correct if need be. Call a lawyer....now.

He really fixed your wagon for divorcing him, didn't he!? There isn't much you can do if your dad is mentally fit. And if dear old dad didn't want you guys around last time he was hospitalized, is that not a hint?!
