Easy lay maybe/maybe not, however there is the getting around the kids part. Many times single moms stay single for a reason, and that is because there are so many jerks out there. But they do still get lonely, however they can also be very cautious. Usually they are looking for something more real, if not I would actually be concerned of their intentions. Does it mean you'll find forever... don't count on it because they tend not to want someone who is unstable around their children. Then again you could find some one who is looking for a father for their child. This is the reason for buddies... someone they can trust around their kids should they not be able to escape them, no strings attached though. Be clear of your intentions from the start, this can help in avoiding awkward problems. You may also watch yourself... you can also find someone looking for a goldmine... in child support... perhaps it is the man ready to lay that is gotten the easiest.

As a single mom I would tell you that you may think it is the easiest lay but guess what...it's also the quickest way to get someone pregnant. Single moms are usually extremely busy and remembering birth control is not always on their list of top priorities. May I suggest you start thinking with the other end.

It's true some poeple don't respect single mums, but they also probably make rash judgements on many members of society they are totally ignorant about. If you are proud of yourself and feel you deserve respect then there will be those who will respect you. Unless you have respect for yourself no-one else will. You should be proud that you are raising your child by yourself, your bought your house. Ask your 'friend' why she has such a negative viewpoint regarding your lifestyle. Is she a single mum herself who has a chip on her shoulder or who feels that way about herself or is she someone who is the one who actually feels this way about single mothers (in which case she's a total snob)? She doesn't sound like much of a friend to discourage and berate your so much in all honesty. Ask her if she knows how much it hurts to hear her talk about you in such a way, and if she does why does she continue to do it and call herself your friend. Don't feel bad if you stopped being friends with her, it's hard but sometimes all a person has to rely on is themselves. You're obviously a tough lady and I personally have respect for anyone raising a child alone (it's hard enough when you have people to help, let alone when you don't). Raising a child is one of the biggest responsibilites a person will have in their lifetime and should not be belittled cos for whatever reasons they are doing it alone. Relationships end and people pass away it doesn't change who's left to pick up the pieces, if you do it well then you deserve respect (and it sounds like you are and do).

An "easy lay" is never easy. Single moms don't have much time to socialize because they are busy being MOMS! Not to offend single moms but sometimes when they go out (since its very rare) they tend to have "too much fun" which can SOMETIMES result in a so-called "easy lay" but you have to remember that single moms are usually looking for something more. Keep in mind that single moms aren't only thinking of themselves and remember that they are very human, dont treat them like "an easy lay".

Mike that is an insensitive question, but i can tell you that some are vulnerable to feelings of being unwanted and feel less desirable or sometimes defective from having a kid.
Still, such touchy situation shouldn't be taken advantage of for easy sex. If you do, just remember what goes around comes around...

yeah thats what u need to do...shack up with a single mom whos easy and probaly irresponsible....that way u can become a single dad. Everyones different, just because ur a single mom doesn't mean your easy. Theres plenty of easy girls who aren't moms yet. But Im sure their well on their way...I feel sorry for their offspring.
