Great, i just ate a hersheys bar with nuts in it around a hour ago. Now you have me wondering..........
YUCK.
Oh well, we probably have all eaten worse and didnt even know it. And probably thought it was the best damn thing we ever tasted at that.

Is the chocolate old? You wouldn't believe what is already in your house from cereal and flour, etc. And bugs love sugar. I wouldn't be quick to sue Hershey's. They'll probably be glad to replace the bag and send you some coupons, but that's just how food is. It's dirtier than we'd all like to know, even when it meets standards. Many people call them pantry bugs or weevels.

This happened to me once with a Hershey Bar with Almonds about 14 years ago. It was some sort of bug larvae living in the almond. I sent a complaint and the label to the company, and got tons of coupons for free candy.
disgusting, but true.

wow , perhaps you ought to do a 2 day liquid detox. wish you do no longer fall ill however. I switched from Hershey to Dove when I found out that Hershey makes use of bitter milk for all Hershey products. you could flavor the version too.

It happened to me once but from a different brand! I guess the bug laid eggs after they ate the chocolate, at the same time the machine was sealing the package. So the worms got the nutrition from the chocolate and grow up... just my guess.

happned to me too. I hate Hershey. I should have gotten rich and sued them. But I was too lazy and just got really mad. I bought a box of hershley chocolotes and i bit into a piece and the other half had a worm moving around it... YUCK. I was to pissed off. I bought the bar at Fry's Electronic store... you know thet sell them candy's everywhere!! Should I have sued them? Would I have gotten lots of MONEY MONEY MONEY??? damn it. i should have. sue them !!

I.ve found bugs in Cadbury's in Australia. We just shrug it off, and learn that during a certain time of year, you eat plain chockie bars. You Americans are the sue-happiest people in the world. Candymakers don't do this on purpose, give 'em a break. If you swallow a bug, shrug it off and regard it as extra protein, it won't kill you, for Pete's sake!!

Worms like sweets and when it get old they will find it so quick and when it is specialty hot you will see it more.
