try downloading
"acemegacodecs"
this will play all codecs

There's an excellent, and free, program to view DVD's on your computer. It's called "Video LAN", or "VLC Media Player", and it's available at the below link to read about it and download it. That ought to help you get past the problem you're having with the DRM snafu. Good luck.

Download other software like VLC Media player @ http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

You didn't mention what new player you downloaded. If it was Realplayer. Get rid of it! (Its an awful piece of ****) Add/Remove programmes etc. Easyist way is to do a System Restore

Either uninstall the new media u downloaded or download some codes.... good luck
