Read Romans one and you shall have your answer, here is just a segment from the NKJ version.
"18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things.
24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen."
To those who said that science has proven God doesn't exist, I have these questions, what proves science? Man? That is a pretty poor authority, seeing as how we've made many mistakes in science throughout the past. Why is it that we assume that we haven't made a mistake this time?
For the people that made the comment that we should prove God before we discuss it the answer to that is, we don't have to, he proves himself. If we try to prove God then whatever we use to prove him becomes our presupposition, and would end up becoming our God, i.e., if we say that archeology proves God then we can base God upon archeology, if archeology is proven wrong(such as some fallen city in the bible not being where people think the bible says it is) then so is God. HOWEVER if God is proving archeology then when that same situation is presented it doesn't matter if that city is not found, man has made a mistake not God.
To the Atheist I have only this to say, there is no such thing as a atheist. You either have man as your god, or the one true God. It is not possible not to have some sort of God, because we must have something set up on high in order to have and sort of moral absolutes. If there is no God then there is anarchy and complete chaos. It takes more faith to be a atheist than it does to be a Christian.
Oh yeah, if your just swallowing what you read in your school textbooks without even reading up on the arguments for the other side, then that really isn't very convincing. Your just spewing
back out what someone put in you without even thinking about it, you just took it for granted.
I have tons more to say, but this is already long enough, and I doubt that anybody has read all of it. Just one closing statement, those who say that Christianity is a leap of faith are those that destroy respect for our beliefs. Christianity is not just true because we want to believe it, and it is not irrational. People have a right to ask for a rational reason for Christianity, and we (as Christians) should be ready to give it to them, instead of saying "I believe because it makes me feel good". Give them something to chew on and think about.

First of all your all god danmed idiots. The Bible is not meant to prove anything. By definition, faith is the absence of reason. There is nothing to prove. Evolution has yet to be proven as well. So no science book will confirm evolution. Rena or whatever your name, let's be a little more specific. Cite your sources. Without facts your just another person with an opinion, shut your ignorant mouth. That's why it is a theory. Original poster, this country is founded on the idea of freedom of religion, I am religious as you are, but respect individualism. We are all capable of making independent judgements. Take note of contemporary Middle East or 17th century European history and the millions of inhumane persecutions. Your fanatacism is the same fervor that cost millions of people their lives, simply for choosing to disagree. You're superficial and incessant ignorance is pathetic and no different from other murderous religous tyrants. Educate yourself dumbfukcs.

They want the easy way out and r stupid! Think of it this way why are there people who say "i don't believe in God because he can't be proven" when an intellectual person would consider the
benefits of believing in God: a moral life... and in the case there is a God ... an eternity in heaven.
Compare the benefits of believing in God to Atheism: No responsibility and the right to be immoral.....
However . . . if there is a God and you don't believe where will you be. . . in HELL.
Fact: A belief in God outweighs the benefits of Atheism

I believe in God, but I don't feel the need to impose that belief upon other people and if people choose not to believe that God exists, then as long as they're not dancing on my toes, it's fine with me. Furthermore I don't feel I have to prove that God exists. My belief that God exists is my leap of faith. I have a few friends that are Athiests, and I have to say that some of these kats are more Christian than the ones who claim to be. They don't judge other people and they are just as compassionate as everyone else. I believe that people's spiritual journeys are their own and should not be tampered with. Don't lead someone who may not follow and don't follow someone who may not lead, just be a friend man. If more people did that there'd be a lot less static among most of us.

There are no such things as gods and wishing won't make it so. Come back in a thousand years and restate that. Perhaps by then you will have evolved to the point where you can communicate at a sentient level.

Becuase people have the freedom to choose what they want to believe. If you believe in God then that is your choice. Others have that same "free will" to have there own beliefs and walk down a different path. This makes us all different and exciting as humans.

This universe is working on vehicle, yet somebody would desire to have created it. We in basic terms wager approximately enormous bang concept being the author of this universe yet there is not any information. as a result somebody would desire to have initiated the approach and we call him God. So there is not any determination yet to have self assurance in God.

Everything is so complicated especially where we come from. However, I feel that a god exists because where does everything come from. I don't think that we come from pure coincidence, atoms, monkeys, gases, or any of that crap. Yeah there is a God after all.
