I would have to say, speaking on behalf of many Christians who would follow God despite his morality, that they would gladly side with the winner out of pathetic sheeplike fear.

I can only answer from an atheists point of view.
I have yet to see any proof of God, but if I DID see such a thing (proof of both God and Satan) as laid out in your question, I would have to start worshipping God.
I mean, if you made Satan mad, what's he going to do? Send you to heaven?
It's an interesting question.

Satan + not such a bad guy = misnomer.
Also, if Satan defeated God then most likely none of us would be here.
Oops, and we wouldn't be having this discussion either.

Satan may have won the battle, but he certainly did not win the war. So the answer would be no. I would rather be on the winning side. Wouldn't you?
If GOD wanted Satan destroyed, he would have destroyed him in Heaven. GOD does not want to force us to worship him. He sent Satan, the Anti Christ, here on earth not so we could worship him, Satan, but to give us a free choice. We have a choice to worship GOD and be rewarded with eternal bliss and harmony or worship Satan and be rewarded with eternal damnation. The choice is ours.

Since we're being hypothetical: If God could be defeated by His own creation, He would not be God and could not have created His creation. Therefore Satan could not have been created would not exist. But, since God is God and did create, He cannot be defeated. So much for that theory........

Not in a million years.
Not a bad guy? He takes pleasure in people's misery and failure and he's not bad? Oh, sorry for not understanding why he laughed when I was depressed! Bad Jesus, the one who stood by my side! Very bad God, who loves me!
Pathetic! Worship Satan?!? I hate him altogether!

You know - don't even go there - there are some things are not possible and that is the most impossible of anything.
Worship evil and the destroyer and liar? No.
You are deceived... he does not want to have fun with you - he wants to destroy you and see you suffer beyond what you can imagine.

Note how very few actually answer the question, and instead simply say "he couldn't defeat him"?
This is why it will be so pitifully easy to make all simple minded beings from the planet Houston...
