I am a male and I have a just above eyebrow length fringe which I straighten using GHD minis. I was wondering wether I should Just use my fingers and the straightner or should I use a comb to help me straighten it, or will it leave my fringe looking split up.

- What I meant is should I use the straightners WITH or WITHOUT the aid of a comb.

I know exactly ,what you mean I had gym second period, and my hair is naturally kink curled (my family is completely nigerian). I usually only straighten my hair twice a week,so I started to pin curl my hair. I would pin it up at night, wear my satin scarf, and after second period, I take out the bobby pins and my hair is still straight/curly. I had to do this for a full 90 days (one semester) through rain, snow, and humidity.Unlike many other people we simply cannot tie up our hair or put various products on it,because it's not good for our hair and can cause breakage and other lovely problems. Hopefully this works for you.

Do not use a comb. If you want it stick straight get a flattening iron....it will take you two minute to straighten it.

if you use a comb it might not stay put. My best bet is the straightener.
