we use to like eachother. and then he started ignoring me. he drinks (a lot). i have heard rumors he is a man-whore. he is just a lil odd. he sent me an email saying he's like to see me and hang out. should i just hang out with him, or just ignore him and go on with my life as i have. i am nice, and i do not want to be total meanie. i havent seen him in a year. i always make excuses to not see him... but he never really did anything bad to me. so complicated. i just wantto hear some opinions.

Listen to that voice inside your head. It is called your intuition and it wouldn't steer you wrong. If your life is going in a positive direction I would think twice before allowing what could be a negative influence into your life. It's one thing to help someone that comes asking for help but he must first admit that he has a problem and have the desire to first help himself.

Do you still like him and how did you feel when he just started ignoring you?

Do you drink a lot too and if not, how would you feel hanging out with some one who does? Do you mind that he is labeled as a "man-whore" and if you start hanging out with a whore, what does that make you?

These are all important questions that you should ask yourself and do so before you respond to his email message and/or phone call that he has made to you, asking you to hang out.

Sincerely no, but if you want you could answer his email, treat him as always, but do not accept his invitation. If you want for your own good continue with your life , dont see him, and tell to yourself you deserve (sorry for my english) something better than him. Remember, that the mayority but not all the person that drink, leave it. Consider yourself like a Queen that need a man that treat you as it.

I think you should just go on about your buisiness. No he didn't do anything wrong to you but trust me an alcoholic man whore isn't someone you want in your life, not even as a friend, they are untrustworthy and not worth your time.

you said he never really did anything bad to you, well he started to ignore you..and i'm pretty sure you didnt give him a reason to i don't know but it seems like you know he's not right for you...yet your making up excuses to hang out with him....if your unsure about this well then give it a try just to see how everything turns out and if he pull his bullshyt again well then leave him alone...it doesnt hurt to try if your unsure about something...sometimes thats what it takes in order for us to wake up!

go out with him, somewhere public, see how he acts, let him drink, dont say anything about it, see what happens. if he is a man whore, then he will try to get you to go home with him, see if he does. just dont listen to gossip, give him a chance, and see what you think of him, dont let other people influence the way you live your life, do what you think is right, and what you want to do, if he turns out to be everything you suspect, then tell him you dont want to see him again... dont just ignore him, becaus unlike number one said, guys dont like to be ignored, at least i dont, i hate it, if you dont want to see me, then tell me. hope i helped
