What a fun date!
Looks like "Hero" there can cut and pasted half a phone book.
Look in Yellow Pages under Riding Stables,and for extra tips call a feed store and ask for suggestions. They might actually know of someone capable that they know personally. I'd much prefer a referral to a glossy ad.
Some things to consider for a Horseback riding date:
Make sure he/she has an idea that they should dress"casual". Nothing like dressing up to dude down!
Muscles aren't that used to horse activities can act up later... so keep the ride to half an hour.
Reserve ahead and check the weather: a back up plan of say, indoor rock climbing or a Salsa dancing lesson might be dryer during the winter storms.
And don't forget a camera! whatever you do, a couples shot of your fun date will be a nice keepsake.
There is a saying "you get what you pay for" which in the horse industry means..charge more since people know less. If its more than $50.00 for a 30 min ride for a couple, your paying too much. Bring a couple fivers to tip if they are extra nice.

definite I even have been horseback driving. in actuality whilst i became youthful, I found out in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. I wasn't scared one bit, yet as my sister and that i've got been attempting to come again down from the mountains, the pony she wasn't on would not flow, so I had to help get her down as properly as myself. i like horses, yet do no longer own one!
