The Al Qaeda is using Iraq as a terrorist "boot camp" and Iraqi alumni are being used to infiltrate Europe and North America. Few survive Iraq, so only the best "graduate" from it.

Syria NOT Iran. Syria is the same religion of the insurgetns, and well, you know how that goes over there. Iran is the same religion as the newer Iraq Government/Forces; they wouldnt go against God (As they call him; Allah) to supply Iraqi Insurgents.

The occupying forces sent the Iraqi army and police home with their own weapons and they know where to get their hands on Saddam's stockpiles of ammunition.

Illegal arms sales by Russia, Czechs, Iran, Syria, this list goes on and on. Some are even sold by renegade arms salesmen. Where ever they can get them.

probably going to get slammed for this reply but basically any one will sell arms to any one else..................look at the French they will sell to any one period, but I would imagine that Syria who works a LOT closer than any one would like to think would be a safe bet.
