If it was the documentary on the Discovery Channel and National Geographic, yes.
Incidently, am not sure about "at least thirty", but there are other gospels, known as the Gnostic Gospels. There are quite a few books written about them, which includes the Dead Sea Scrolls and others. They just represent a different view than what the four Bible gospels do. You might want to know that the Gospels in the new testament were chosen by a man (High Official in the early church) because they were more main stream than the other "gnostic gospels". Also, Jesus did have at least one brother who is mentioned several times in the New Testament, and was one of the early leaders of the church. I will let you guess his name. Read the letters of Peter to find his name.
SORRY, just read some of the other responses and I disagree. The Gospel of Judas is not a fake. One might want to look at the history of ALL the gospels first. Did you know that each of the "Holy Gospels" were each directed towards a particular group of people to interest them into believing in Jesus and the gospel? Each was written to impress, say Greeks, or Romans, the particular group so they would join the early church.

Yes I saw it.

There were at least 30 gospels, most of which were excluded by the church. Many of them told vastly different stories which is why it is really impossible to take the old texts too seriously. That really isn't speculation at all, it is just part of how things were very early on. The Dead Sea Scrolls have a pretty different outlook as well.

It is really easy to call them fake, but they are from the same time of all the others. It is just the way the stories were handed down. None of the gospels were actually old enough to have been written by anyone who was there. And it was such a small sect that no one outside would have bothered.

I think most Christians even know that there were brothers and sisters that were younger. I've not heard most of them deny it.

Well its kinda known he had at least one brother James and some already say Thomas was his brother also so that's no big news. And as far as the answerer saying Judas Iscariot was dead so he couldn't have written a Gospel, maybe it was a different Judas?
Haven't seen the film but looking forward to seeing it and reading the book.

I saw it, and I even read the gospel. It is missing alot of pages, phrases, and entire verses in chapters. It wasnt special, and aside from one point, where it says Jesus took Judas aside, but the part about what Jesus said is missing, its nothing special.

Just a point, the Bible already told us Jesus had brothers and siters. At least on of his disciples WAS his half-brother.

It is true that that there are gospels that aren't in most bibles that you will find today, for various reasons.

Though some are still used by different churches that are still around.

if you want to see these as "real" is up to you.

and it was stated in the bible that Jesus had siblings. some say they where Joseph's (he was older and a widower) before he married Mary other say that that the came after Jesus was born (hey Mary only need to be a virgan for Jesus' birth)

I did not.

There are HUNDREDS of Scriptures that some one or other would put in to the Bible.

Most have NOTHING at all to do with the subject though.

OF COURSE JESUS had brothers and sisters00 then are even named in the KJV Bible!

Yes, it's very interesting. I find it odd that the church "nonchalantly" left out these telling books.
