How can i put DVD's onto my computer so that i can then put them on my ipod?

You need at least 2 software programs. You need a software program to copy video files from the DVD to the computer and another software program to convert the video files in to files that you can download to your iPod. If you are using a copy protected DVD then you need a 3rd program to decrypt the video files in order to save it on to your hard drive. There are several free software programs. But, you need to some computer software knowledge to use them properly. There are 2 commercial programs which are very good and easy to use; however, it is going to cost you. Both commercial programs come with a 21 day free trial; so, you can at least try them before deciding if you want to buy them. The software programs are Slysoft's AnyDVD and CloneDVD Mobile. AnyDVD decrypts and copies video files from the DVD on to your hard drive. CloneDVD Mobile will then take these files and convert them so you can download them on to your iPod. Download them at:
