OMG, don't listen to any of these people. I will tell you exactly what you need/should get. Since it is a lower end semi-automatic marker, not many upgrades should be bought. If anything, get a barrel. Save up for another gun, a better one, and don't buy upgrades for a low end spyder, my friend made that mistake with his TL-R and his gun is broke to the point where it was irreplaceable. He bought a new spyder threaded barrel, and a VL Quantum hopper, and a trigger frame but now he got an Ion. He bought those upgrades for nothing because the barrel is not threaded for Smart Parts, the hopper does not feed fast enough for the gun, and the trigger frame does not fit. $70 down the drain. Save up for another gun, don't bother getting upgrades for it. But a barrel is always good.

To answer your question, since I build custom spyders.... I would start with a good barrel, for a good price the CP (Custom Products) cannot be beat in the >$50 range. Good loader, an EVO II will work fine. Get Dye stickie 3 grips, locking feedneck, and a good high flowing bolt like aka lightning. If you have the old venturi style bolt remove the venturi from it. If you have a dlerin antichop then leave it alone. You can do other stuff, but for now I would just do the upgrades I mentioned, barrel is a must to do first.

Honestly, i would suggest getting rid of the spyder and getting a tippmann. Me and everyone I play paintball with started out with spyders and they jammed every game. The only good thing about this is you learn how to rebuild them real quick.

no id let that one slide too there are a few other choices for that price range you can get on pbnation and get a bone stock ion for that if not maybee 10-15 bucks more or an impulse on ebay or pbnation for less than 100 both are very good guns tat are reliable, much more so than a spyder

It depends on what your going to use it for. Tourney's? Get an Ion. But if it is just for fun in the woods get a new barrel. look on actionvillage. They have kingman upgrades.
