I'm looking to buy a pair of Mickey Mouse boots, but not sure what size to purchase. I've read they run big, but then others have said they run true to size. I wear an 11 normally in boots, so not sure if I should go with the 11 or get a 10. Thanks for any help.

i got a pair and have had the pair for about 8 or 9 years and they run the same as my other boots. i wear a 10 and they are to and with thick socks it is a struggle to get my feet in them. they are heavy, but your feet will never get cold in them even if you are standing in icy water all day..

I’m surprised CTM doesn’t know you talking about military boots for cold weather. Well anyway I wouldn’t go smaller than your size. You see you want some room between your foot and that boot but not so much your foot moves around inside causing blisters. Just wear a thick sock to fill any extra room in the boot. I have Mickey “black” and bunny “white” boots. And although I have bought some modern high tech pac boots for the Alaskan winters I have to deal with I use those military boots very often. The problem with those boots is they don’t let out moisture that well, so a thick sock will help wick out the moisture keeping your feet dryer. I have put on those boots over bare feet for short trips outside in subzero temps and they kept my feet warm but not near as warm as with thick synthetic/wool blend socks. Trust me on this; in extreme cold weather you NEVER wear anything that’s real tight on you. This is why they are sized a bit large. Tight clothing or shoes reduces blood flow of the skin, it presses small capillaries just under the surface of the skin. That in turn means you get cold because the body can’t circulate blood well there. And by the way never wear cotton socks in cold weather, either use wool or synthetics. Cotton gets wet and compresses loosing its insulation value. Some up here have the expression “cotton kills” and in extreme cold weather it can. Im no expert on military gear but I have had to deal with subzero temps below -65 degrees many times so I do know about staying warm.

I have a pair that are the same size as my Rocky Boots and they fit fine. A little heavy but the warmest boots I've ever worn.
