Rum, brandy or whiskey are typically added to egg nog. But if u want a variation, try tequila or vodka.

Aged bourbon is the smoothest and seems to blend with all the flavors. I have also used expensive brandies such as Paul Masson or Remy Martin. The brandy seems to have more of a bite. Have Fun!

Bourbon. I usually use Wild Turkey for mixing with eggnog. I've heard of people using brandy or rum, too, though.

Bourbon,any whiskey,BUT my favorite is Amaretto,egg nog and a little ice.Too Good !
