The tone of Answers has been so somber of late. And I ask why?The questions and answers are so dull - I 've had it with some of these people. We've got the Yamster taking his nunchuks to anybody that tries to make a joke or be irreverant, witty or sarcastic. Let's just rule these things out as literary devices because some people either don't understand them or can't take a joke. Then out of fear people imitate this somber tone and it sickens me. All day long "tsk tsk tsk" and finger wagging like we're back in elementary school. Look out or the Yamster will get you if your humour rises above the level of a clown being hit with a broom or if you spill soup down your shirt hey, it's okay to laugh at that. I like trolls - they keep it interesting and funny. Although I don't condone the pervs, without irreverance Answers becomes nothing more than housewives droning on about pictures of furry kittens. Has Answers gone content cuckoo?

YES!!

I agree!

Answers is getting so boring without the trolls, and with only the serious questions and answers...I'm sorry, but is an innapropriate question, or a joke, or something just funny really that bad, but of course Yahoo! allows the pervs, the racists, the flamers, the people who do nothing but post but insults, the same questions over and over, how long is it until Yahoo! has to let up a little and let a little bit of trolling.

The only person I see here whose moderatly funny is GODZILLA, other than that, no one in perticular makes me laugh, I used to be one for posting some irrellivant, crazy crap, but the Yamster started going crazy and removing them

Honestly, I long for the days of Edna and such, not to her extremism, and such, as I was against her then, but something that awakens answers..

Yahoo! actually owes their thanks to the jokers, because without them long term members like I wouldnt be here...

I have no problem with sarcasm, but some of the jokes just aren't funny. I just don't see how jokes about pedophilia or rape are funny, for example. But I don't usually report abuse for jokes. In fact, if I know it's going to be about something I don't like, I usually don't even click on the question.

I agree with u totally..part of why i like yahoo answers is to get different people opinions...sometimes it is hard to see things when u are in the thick of it...i enjoy reading any kind of answer from the mundane to the insane...so yea im offended by this overwhelming sensitivity.

I agree totally! I think people get way to B**t hurt on here. Just go to the next question or ignore the trolls. If they are saying derrogatory things though then that's understandible to report them and be offended. '-)
