In the story both got pregnant.

The writers of this section of the bible were trying to put down the enemies of the hebrews by saying their ansesters were imbred.

The odds are it is just a story and no way true.

God would not deform such virtuous people.

The people of Sodom were wicked and must be destroyed. Lot and his family were moral enough to be spared. So, God allowed them to escape the destruction so he would only smite the wicked and not the virtuous.

Of course, then Lot's wife showed she wasn't so virtuous after all, and she became a pillar of salt.

The daughters survived quite well. And being virtuous people, they virtuously raped their father.

And how could you insinuate that the product of such a loving, godly incestuous rape be deformed? Show some respect for Lot's daughters, for God's sake. They only did what nonwicked people would do.

It's fiction. If it did happen you could expect a high likelihood of birth defects.
