I guess I do not understand the 34 year old "tradition" (I really do not consider it a holiday) of Kwanzaa. I know its basis - to incorporate African traditions into American customs...but...why? This is not Africa. This is America. Oh let me guess...it is all about those traditions being implemented by some "white guy"...

You don't really need to know or care about Kwanazaa. Just understand that some people find it meaningful and important and let them live their lives as they choose (as long as they aren't hurting anybody else).

After all - Christianity was just a silly little cult consisting of a couple Jews once upon a time. And Christmas was only a 34 year old tradition way back when.

Happy Holidays,
