The how come there is story after story of children from infancy knowing who God is? Here is a quote from snopes of a child doing something strange but puts things into perspective...
Soon after her brother was born, little Sachi began to ask her parents to leave her alone with the new baby. They worried that like most four-year-olds, she might feel jealous and want to hit or shake him, so they said no. But she showed no signs of jealousy. She treated the baby with kindness and her pleas to be left alone with him became more urgent. They decided to allow it.

Elated, she went into the baby's room and shut the door, but it opened a crack -- enough for her curious parents to peek in and listen. They saw litle Sachi walk quietly up to her baby brother, put her face close to his and say quietly, "Baby, tell me what God feels like. I'm starting to forget."

If you don't like snopes then go suck a lemon ya sourkraut ^_^ I know there are those out there that will go to any extent to prove that they know God isn't real but really the mind is something we dont' know much about. Anyways my point is that no matter what proof you give to an athiest they still will say there is no God, it's called pride and conviction... dont' deny it because you know it's true. of course you still will...

Snopes found the account to be true. yeah hearsay but there is an aweful lot of hearsay from different people in different parts of the world. Children know more than we do of the spiritual world because they are born pure and they don't have the ablitlyt to dismiss things as an adult does. I still know that I heard angels sing when I was 3 years old and I will always remeber that and I will never dismiss it as imagination I know it was true, It was when some one was doing something bad and I knew then that person would get into trouble for it. Now that person is dead but I only hope that he knew christ before he died, I forgive and forget even if it was traumatizing. If only adults could really see through the eys of a child, they can see far more than we ever can again.

Love that story, and also "God smells like Rain"

I have 4 children, and can tell you no question, they talked about God from the time they could talk. And with my first 2, I was still searching myslef, they didnt learn it from me, they just knew.

Wow well children arent always born fully aware of what they went through before their souls were sent on earth.

Most of them have latent information that is sleeping, kinda like the ability to pick up language and learning it natively out of sheer exposure.

When parents tell their kids about God in a nice way....showing the birds, the trees, the sky...and saying these are also His creations and we are His creations too...

the kids usually feel awed and feel the wisdom in that.

However, it is my belief that faith is not something that is acquired but comes along with the persons soul. A choice we made when all souls were created.

Yeah, cuz I'm sure the kids had never heard of God and I'm sure we've done interviews with kids who are too young to have heard of God (and speak for that matter) and found out (somehow) that these kids knew about God from infancy without any influence from their parents.

How many of these kids had atheist parents, again and no interaction with people who believed in God?

Look, kids make up all kinds of stories. Why only believe the ones involving God?

According to the old books, before birth in a fleshen body the waiting souls are in a 'vault'. Since the vault is in Heaven it only stands to reason that god would check in and assure them that their time among man is coming. After entering their corporeal form, it is rumored that an angel comes to them and tells them a secret and instructs the newborn to forget about their time in Heaven. As the baby growssome believe that they are in tune with the spiritual world which is why they see ghosts and seem to talk to people that aren't there. But then, its all legend...right?

how did they prove this to be true? They only have the parents word for it or was it on video or tape. Sorry this is pure rot. In a court of law it would be dismissed as hearsay as it is just someone reporting what they claim to have heard through a slightly open door. Your assertion that it was found to be true is misleading nonsense.

I think little Sachi answered your question. Maybe infants do know who GOD is, but they cannot talk and tell you who he is. As they start to grow up and learn to talk they start to forget because of all the other things they have to learn. Later in life they may learn what GOD is, but they may never learn who he is.

God told me the other day that when I was born he had a number of things that he wanted me to do in this life and right now I was so far behind I may never die. Is that a joke?

Sure, the parents may have overheard their kid doing something strange. Happens all the time. Kids are weird. I know I was, and very imaginative too. I could have easily made this up to fool my parents. It's not proof of anything but how gullible some people can be.

You think a 4 year old had no knowledge of god? I had knowledge of "god" by the time I had learned my first words (which were Kill!, son of Jor-El, and Kneel!)

You're lying to yourself, and that is punishable by imprisonment in the phantom zone.

Kneel before Zod!

God is with everybody, there is no such thing as an actual original sin, the original sin is just death and suffering, not damnation. Only with age do we choose damnation, time separates us from faith.
So everyone knows of Him, with or without the Gospel.

So a child was indoctrinated into Christianity and it now influences her behaviors. Big deal. That proves nothing. Well, it proves that parents shouldn't syphon their preferred myths into their children, but nothing more.
