I'm 25 yrs. old and went on a date with a very nice girl (25 yrs. old) about two or three weeks ago. She's a high school art teacher and studying for her master's. So, she's gotta be busy as hell. She told me she'd get back to me on another night to meet. I gave up on her last night and all of a sudden I receive an email today from her apologizing and asking if I would still like to do something together. I really felt a chance to get close with her last time and she suggested a movie. How do I get close with her in a movie? I would like to kiss her if possible. Also, I've noticed she hasn't been on jdate in almost two weeks. Is it possible she's only looking for a friend? Or, is she possibly interested in me a potential mate?

movies suck for early dates because you dont get to talk to them- maybe follow it up with dinner or meet early for lunch.....then suggest next time you go to a museum or something you can get to know each other better.

Friendship is a good beginning point for a potential mate, don't you think? The whole purpose of dating is to get to know someone better. She seems to be an independent gal with her own thing going on. You can still get a chance to kiss her after the movie--so if that's where she'd like to go do it! Good Luck

Maybe she is busy (it is Christmas....December...all that. Give her a break. And give her a try. Have some patience and see how it works out over time. There is no hurry and no rules on how fast this has to happen. Just be happy to spend some time with her and try her out - see if she is interesting to you and if you are a good match. If so, then you can start down the path in earnest. Otherwise - enjoy the time together!

well go to the movie, and afterwards go for desert if u've already eaten dinner....or do something eles thats fun. who knows what shes interested in, but let her know ur interested in dating and ask her what she is looking for from this. and also tell her u want to get to know her which might be hard in a movie theater ;) so suggest something else that would be fun instead or do alot of things and have a fun day or something. but either way no matter what she's interested in being, just have fun and enjoy life ^_^

Only way to find out is to go out with her again. Go for a drink or coffee after a movie so you can talk and possible get that kiss.

First, don't over think. Second, instead of a movie (where you barely talk to eachother) go someplace where you can interact and enjoy eachother's company. Perhaps you could go out to eat at a "theme" restaurant.
And don't forget #1...Don't overthink it!
