Of course! Anything is possible. Seen it happen many, many times. I have a relative who dated a girl in high school, stayed together for 8 years, got engaged, broke up, married someone else for a few years, got divorced and was back with his ex and engaged to her again after 3 months. They are now married, had their first child 1 year ago, and neither have ever been happier.

Maybe, but it's usually just returning to all the same issues that were unresolved before. I'd suggest you think this through before jumping back in. An ex-girlfriend is a like a source of comfort, the guy knows what to expect, what he can get away with, and what the ex-girlfriend wants to hear. Be alert!!

Yes, but unfortunately, not for the right reasons. My ex was abusive verbally and mentally. I got out before it became too physical. Now 7years later he claims to our children that he loves me and he'd leave his fiance if I would just wiggle my little finger at him.
You really need to determine the real reason's for the desire. It could just be a crush that is hard to get over. It could be true feelings. Nostalgia is a bad reason to get together. The real reason to come together in the first place may help you decide how to go forward. Talk to her.

i think one can desire to contemplate what reason the wear and tear up, how previous have been the two certainly one of you. it may be that now you're the two mature persons with targets in existence that positioned issues in a distinctive attitude and function now share interest. Yes, we like all of our past love interests and from time to time we pretend that our current girl is our past girl and this is what gets us thru another nite with the current girl.

never happens. guys never go back. it's in the testicle hand book. rule 15.8.7.3.9 states "if a man ever goes back to an ex-gf for anything other than a booty-call, he will have his man-card suspended for not less than 5 yr nor more than 7 yrs and group of no less than 50 male peers may elect to have one testicle removed."
so if he is smart...booty-calls only. no emotional attachments. it's in the book.;-)
