No I don't get upset. Just being around family means just as much to me than gifts. During the holidays, I am thankful my family & I live to see another year because people are leaving this world everyday. In fact, I told my parents yesterday not to buy me anything next year.

When I was between 10 & 14 I did'nt like it because everyone else had a little something.
But what I hated most was I did'nt get a card or even a phone call, that hurt the most.

No, a call on Christmas day is good enough. When you're older you have more importants thing to get mad over. like being attacked in the store buying a rare christmas gift for your own kids

Presents aren't everything. I value their support, love and knowledge in my older years then a wrapped present.

dude...that's not fun. maybe they think you are kinda grown up now and wouldn't mind if they didn't buy you anything. or maybe they're having money issues right now. well, what ever it is, you have to know that they love you...they're your parents, they do love you.
