You didn't say how old your cat is, or whether he goes outside or not. If he is an older cat you should take him to a vet. If he goes outside sometimes you should take him to see a vet. If he isn't that old and does not go outside try giving him some furball medicine. You can find this at any grocery or pet store. And yes that is what it is called I know it sounds gross but cats need this to be able to digest their food without the fur getting in the way. You could also try feeding him some grass but I would put him somewhere like the bathroom if you do give him grass, because he will throw up after eating it but this is a good thing for the cat.

No doubt she is in heat and you need to have her spayed asap especially if you do not want her to have kittens. My eldest cat was on heat every 3 weeks for about 4 days. It is exhausting for them and eventually it can become exhausting for you as the noises they make can get very loud and last hours. Having them spayed prevents them form certain diseases, mainly ovarian cancer I believe. The operation is simple, she will be home the same day and will recover within a day. I had my second cat spayed before she even got a chance to get in heat.

I you think it means she won't be the same and she will put on weight etc..., let me reassure you: since her hormones will not be all over the place, she will have more time for you and her toys. As for the weight, if you feed her properly and ensure she has a bit of exercise every day (ie play) she will not put on weight. This is definitely the best thing you can do for her.

Is she entire, sounds like she might be in season? If you stroke down her back and she raises her bum in the air, she's in season. You might also find her calling at the door or quite restless. If she's spayed and looks to be in pain then call your vet. If she is entire and you do think she's showing signs of a season, keep her in and when she's stopped showing these signs get her spayed to prevent unwanted litters.

Take her to the vet to be spayed. She is in heat and is miserable and will continue in this fashion till she breeds or is spayed. It will go on for a few days then stop and start back up in about 2 weeks till she's spayed. Till you get her to thevet, be very careful. She will try to break out and find a male to mate with. Also, males (who can smell her up to a mile away) may try to break in to get to her. Good luck!

The same thing happened to my kitten just before Christmas. I thought she was in pain so I took her to the vet. Felt like a right plonker when I was told all that was wrong was that she was in season! I have now had her spayed.

Your cat is in heat go get her fixed it's expensive but it's the only way she will stop the more cycles of heat she goes through the more likely it is that she will start to spray or peeing on you stuff

100% certain if she hasn't been neutered she is in season.
this will go on until she either mates or you take her to the vet.
cats don't have a time limit to being on heat, you need to get this sorted for both your sanity and that of your cat

Your cat might be in heat. My cat acted like that when she was in heat. But if you think that's not it you should take her to the vet.
