The only way to know a man is gay is if he prefers other men. Just because a man has a feminine side doesn't mean he's gay. All men have feminine sides to some degree, even if they won't admit it, just like all women have masculine sides.
And some gay men can present themselves as very, very masculine. They call themselves "straight acting," but they are as gay as a day in May. Only actually seeing them in a relationship with another man will prove it for sure.

I think I once turned a guy gay by jokingly calling him gay all the time. If he's straight, he probably is. If he's actually gay, maybe he doesn't want people to know right now or doesn't know what he's feeling?
Just leave him be, he'll say when he's ready, if he's gay that is.

I would assume gay unless proven otherwise. If he actually is straight he probably isn't having much luck with the ladies, acting so feminine. Does he have a large amount of female friends as well? I would say that would point towards being gay as well. Most guys don't hang around women too much unless they are trying to do them.

feminists side? You mean he thinks women are people too? A good indicator is tell if he is gay: You find him playing Brokeback Mountain with another man.

if you find boys' life magazines in his closets, he's gay. if you find penthouse and playboy, etc., he's probably straight. don't judge a person before you have the facts. if you're that concerned or curious, ask him directly. just say, "you're really a great friend to me and i hope you feel the same way about me, so i hope you can trust me when i ask you this. i want you to be as close to me as i feel toward you. do you like guys better than girls?" hope this helped ya. good luck!

well I seen so many feminists guy .but as for my thinking .I feel there lieing to me and to there self.....we knew this friend of our had woman and he had feminist side .I always thought he was gay but .he said no. and after a few years he came out...but I knew he was he just couldn't face it.....and a brother-in-law of mine also he hads a family he act gay and is very feminist ....but his family are so straight .I fell he lieing to him self

If he says he's straight then he is, you can only go by what he says because looks are deceiving and your shouldn't judge a book by it's over.

Ask him to watch the Wizard of Oz with you.... If he says "Oooooh, I love Judy Garland" Hes a shirt lifter...
