i am dating this girl, and been on about ten dates. well she wanted me to come over and meet her family (all 11 of them) yesterday for xmas dinner. so i said sure. well everything went smooth, and i am shy, but made enough conversation to where it wasnt wierd or anything. so everytime my DATE would walk away, she kept staring at me. i hope it was a good stare (was it?) but things went well, met the parents, and when i was getting ready to leave, they gave me some gifts right out of the blue. i was shocked!! so needless to say..am i already liked by them, did i do well?? and the staring, was that a lusty stare, or a "i really like" him stare???

I think they liked you. She was probably just keeping an eye on you just in case you might have been uncomfortable, she wouldn't have invited you to meet the parents if she didn't really like you!!!!

Sounds like your in the clear.That stare could be to make sure you are comfortable and can hold your own around her peeps. There is nothing more attractive than a confident male.The real sign will be if you get a call inviting you over again.

I think that was an observation on how you did without her. She was just making sure you did ok & that her family liked you... which they probably did since they gave you something at the end of the night.

If you felt it went well, and her parents gave you gifts..I would say it must have!! If she was giving you a "bad" stare, you would know it!!! So it could only be a good, if not lustful, stare!!!

She sounds like she likes you a lot and was just trying to see how you were getting along with the family so she could see how you fit it.

ok, they probably gave you presents because they knew you were coming and didn't want you to feel left out. she stared at you because she was enjoying how you were really getting to know her family. and it was an "i really like him" stare no doubt.

maybe she wanted to see how you and her family would react together if she wasnt in the room.
