me and this girl, although not actually going out, have gone on three dates together, and I finally kissed her on the third date. A few days after the third date she stopped returning my text messages(we were texting each other everyday for a few weeks), only texting me once or twice to say she was busy or merry christmas! I then sent her a text asking her if she wanted to go out again sometime in the week, but i got no response. I then saw her on the same day that i sent the text message and she said " Sorry, I only just got your message" and then I had to get back to work, but she didnt give a response.... is this playing hard to get?? Or have i scared her off?

It doesn't sound promising. How did she react when you kissed her.
Might be best to back off a little bit, the Christmas period is always hectic so her behaviour might not have anything to do with you. Don't text her or contact her for a while and see what happens, if she likes you then she will get in touch.
You've probably done all you can for the time being, no point in acting desperate.

laughing at Pitybluesboy's post. I know that I too have scared off some because of my answers on questions. But I have more that are not scared of me. I am glad. I just am being me, and not trying to scare anyone.

No I don't think so because she spoke to you at least and said she had seen your message. Try knocking on her door and give her a single rose and say you would like another date. Stop sending texts. Too impersonal. make all your contacts in person. Meet for lunch at a neutral place in public. Talk about all subjects and above all be a gentleman.

maybe, but she is pretty easy to scare if that is the case! Just act a little aloof now, women seem to love that sh*t, i am also a sucker for an aloof man. Just untill she comes around again. Text her asking if she wants to join you and a couple of friends for a movie, or a game of pool, etc... something to break the ice.

could be she is scared of relationships or some sort of commitment?
could be shes incredibly embarrased and shy?
could be she doesnt like you anymore?
could even be she met someone else recently?
but if she isnt really making any effort to go out with you just leave her to be busy at her own thing and slowly forget her.. its the best thing because if you totally distance yourself she may come back later but if you find out she ss dating lots of other guys behind your back then leave her to it.
move on slowly and ignore her. let her chase you around.

she could just be playing hard to get because she may not be in a comfortable position at the moments
My girlfriend took a whole year blowing hot and cold on me but I just persisted and we are going out now so don't give up. Good luck mate

Could be a number of reasons, one of them probably being that she is not ready for that kind of relationship...be blunt with her let her know that you are willing to take her anyway you can get her...if friendship is what she wants, then frienship is what she will get. But don't revolve your life around her....if she thinks you are always available to her then she might take advantage or loose interest.

all u need is time and patience. just buy her flowers and a card and ask her out in the card and leave it at her door and tell her to call u if you fro the answer and tell her if you dont want to be wiht me just tell me cuz i dont want to go through this everyday wondering if you really like me....thats all it takes, trust me.
