My first question to you : Do you know if she is lesbian or if she has bi tendencies?? Once that question is answered I can give helpful advice. Edit: I wouldn't suggest telling her via IM or text message I would suggest asking her out for coffee and pick a corner that's private. Tell her that you value her friendship and that she means more to you than just a friend. Gage her reaction from that before you go on. If it's positive then by all means tell her how you feel about her but if you get that look... by the look I mean the one that says WTH is this girl saying back off and see where it goes.
