I have two goffins... and was told by the avian vet that the MALE is usually more agressive!
Clearly not always so :-)
My female is definitely more moody and tempermental.
Do you know how she was raised?
In our case, it probably IS the difference in how I raised Boo, the male who I have had since he was a baby... When HE was a baby, we went everywhere together, I took him to work with me, and he learned from a very young age that gentle behaviors get him more LOVE from everybody.
Swift was a petstore bird who was sold to her former owners/parents who couldn't give her enough attention. Unfortunately, the north east doesn't have the wonderful weather and laid back bird-friendly people that the south does.
I just never let HER on my shoulder, and I do keep her wings clipped shorter than Boo's. This seems to help slightly with her agression (atleast I don't get my eyes bit out :-).

She is just seeing what it is she can get away with. Sense you know this will happen then you will know to move very quickly out of her way. I would tell her NO BITE in a firm voice not a loud voice. I would place her in her cage everytime she did that until she realises this is what will happen to her if she acts this way. Thats What I would do. GOOD LUCK!

properly, this is enormous that they get alongside. there's no longer a suitable answer, yet some innovations... a million) no longer asserting this to be bothered you, yet male cockatoos can grow to be VERY aggressive with their friends... some have even killed their friends, so basically be beneficial that each and each time they're out collectively, you (or somebody) are domicile to intrude if mandatory... remember, in case your male does this, that is not because of the fact he's "undesirable" - that is basically in a number of their natures 2) birds are variety of like babies... in the event that they desire to do it, they're going to stumble on a fashion. My buddy has 2 birds that did it in the path of the bars of their cages. you could shop the cages aside, yet you could no longer shop the birds in the cage... they nonetheless could come again out for play and interplay, no longer basically with eachother, yet with you. With that pronounced, they're going to in all threat mate (especially because it somewhat is everyday mating season).... basically enable them to do their element.... if she's no longer mature adequate to place eggs, no longer difficulty 3) - if she does lay eggs, that is advantageous. i do no longer somewhat like the belief, yet whilst she lays eggs, many human beings basically pull the eggs from the female. It sounds advise, yet many human beings do it. the female in many circumstances gets over it after an afternoon. If after the 1st time you do it, it somewhat is obviously noticeably distressing to her, you're able to be able to could see a vet approximately different thoughts on your perdicament, yet in many circumstances, that is totally custom to tug the egg 4) a pal of mine supplies her male and woman couples a small plastic ping pong ball throughout mating season. This keeps them from mating whilst they "care" for their egg... then after a pair of weeks, they injury it as they think of that is unfertile. 5) finally - cockatoos are especially lots properly-known for making scrambled eggs out of their newly hatched eggs... and eating them. don't be shocked in case you awaken looking that your female laid and egg then had an omlette.... sturdy success! :-)
