no, but if i talk to him and he's been single for over a year, then i would have to wonder what is wrong with him.

I would assume a guy was independent and could deal with being on his own if I found out he had been single for a year or so. On the other hand, if a guy has been single for 50 plus years, never married, never co-habitated with a girl, etc. I would wonder what issues he had. So, don't assume girls are going to think you're weird b/c you're single....they're going to think it's pretty cool. The other plus in your situation is the girl you ask out won't think she's the 'rebound girl', there will be no recent ex in the picture and there's no chance you'll talk constantly about an ex. You're sitting pretty big guy!! Good Luck

No- when I hear that a guy is single I don't really think anything of it. I guess it depends on how old you are and what you want out of life. If you wanted to be with someone you would be by now. You don't need to rush into anything. If the right girl comes along you'll know it. If you're happy being single and are content to stay that way forever then that's you're choice to make. It isn't weird.

there is no law that says you have to have a girlfriend. it's fine to do what ever you're comfortable with., if that means being single, then so be it. if they can't handle that, then that's their problem. there is absolutly nothing wrong with you, you just choose not to have a girlfreind and to fend for yourself. when the time is right for you to have a girlfriend again, you'll know. sorry, that last part was kind of random, but good advise. hope this helps!!! good luck.

No, I wouldn't think that there's anything wrong with a guy who is single. Maybe he just broke up with his girlfriend! Maybe he wants to be free and "play the field"! It's up to him. And besides, it would work more to my benefit, since i'm single too!

No, there's nothing wrong with you. We all have our reasons.
It's not like you COULDN'T get a date if you wanted one, right? Because then it might be a tad odd.
But if you choose to be single, there's nothing wrong w/it. Women are single for years at a time sometimes (usually because we don't come across anyone worthy to call a "boyfriend") so why can't men?

Yes especially if he is handsome and in the church. I usally ask myself why it is that I'm so lucky to meet him when none of the other ladies in the church are interested. I usually assume that he must either have some nasty qualities or he's gay. Sorry, but that's what i think.

NO! Thats a pretty judgemental way to be. Anyone who judges you for being single is small minded. Many people are single and usually its their own choice to remain so. Ignore them.

I doubt anyone would think you are weird for not having a GF for awhile. If anything they might be curious why you haven't had one but that doesn't mean they think you are weird. Just tell them you didn't want a girlfriend if they ask.

No, I'm hoping that you chose to be single and are happy with yourself — just as all the other singles should be.
