Thank you for being concerned enough about your pet to have her spayed. No matter what some people think, cats and dogs do not want to be baby machines. They are happier and healthier and make much better pets when they are not popping out one litter after another.
And yes, fix her when the babies are weaned.

Your cat can grow to be pregnant interior approximately 2 weeks of giving transport. perchance she is in contact approximately the different cat, around. perchance you may attempt to discover a large, quiet place to make particularly undertaking for her wherein the different cat at the instant are not waiting to head into. grant it to her, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that do not tension her to hold the kittens there. See if the mummy has adequate milk or would have a mammory an infection. See if the kitten she keeps imparting you with're going to unquestionably nurse, too. perchance she purely trusts you including her kittens? Is the teen O.ok.? puppy mom and communicate to her to help her have faith comfy. If the little kitten would possibly not nurse or mom refuses after a pair of attempts to place kitten to her for nursing, take a investigate bottle feeding. yet, first take a investigate a quiet undertaking good from the male, and located teen as much as mom.

I think you have to wait until the kittens are weened. But I think she can get pregnant during this time. I would schedule her for an appointment at the vet for as soon as the kittens are 8 weeks old and keep her away from any male cats in the mean time. Good luck!

Well i really try to mess with a cat that recently has had kittens. Usually a kitten will not need its mother any more after about 6-8 weeks. Also getting a cat nuetered is kind of messed up. If you are not able to support its kittens then you probably shouldnt have gotten a pet in the first place. Think about this for a second. What if your kids want to have kids but you got them nuetered. This would take something away from them. Know you wouldnt want that now would you. Now even worse, say your parents got you nuetered. Now that would be really wrong now wouldnt it. They would take your ability to reproduce. Like I say dont do things to others that you wouldnt want to be done to yourself or others you care about.

I had our cat fixed after she had kittens and the vet advised that we not bring her in til the babies were weaned and for the mothers milk to dry (usually about a week or so after the kittens are weaned).

Her kittens must be fully weaned. They need to be with her for at least 8 weeks. Then she can be fixed-the sooner, the better. Good luck and congrats on the babies!

Wait until after the kittens are fully weaned (meaning, eating kitten/cat food on their own--some will continue to nurse long after they "need" to).
