can i take my lotions out of my purse during the flight? or do i have to leave them in my purse in the quart sized baggie?

Right not there are many restrictions about carrying liquids on board the aircraft with you. This does include the items that are located in your purse. The lotion would need to be 3oz. or less and located in the 1 qt clear plastic bag. I would suggest before you travel that you visit the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/ they have the complete list of items that you can and can not bring on the aircraft with you.

IT depends make sure you have just under the specified amount. My friend gave with some lotion and presents and fudge for christmas but they made her throw it all away because it looked like bomb material. So 2 days of cooking put to waste after she called the airport and they said it was ok but the security wouldn't let her have it. If necesary just put the lotion on in the bathroom before you are on the plane. Thanks

You can use them on the plane. If they didn't want you to use them, they would not have allowed them back on the planes.
