guys take longer to grow up because their is no pressure on them TO BE GROWN UP regardless of what age they are. Girls on the other hand have been told that we have to act, look, and be mature even at a young age (it's expected) unlike for guys.

It's because almost all of the girls in 8th grade act immature, therefore guys see no reason to act mature towards them.

guys are immature in the 8th grade because they haven't grown up yet. there are some 29 year olds that are stuck back in that 8th grade mentality and still need to grow up. each person is different so you just have to go with it.

You aren't even in High School yet, Don't expect more than %2 of the Male population to be mature. High School it gets a bit better, but you will still be asking this question.

I'm 38 and still hearing this. Now the girlies like my youthful enthusiasm and energy. Maturity is all relative....get some yourself before you go judging half of humanity.

I'm in 10th grade and they still aren't mature, they act like babies every day, I hate school because of them plus they don't respect anybody not even the teachers. They are more than immatures they are jerks. ( The ones that are in my school)
