If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it does it still make a sound?

this is the age old question of "is there sound if there is no one to hear it"....if no one...including animals...hears it, is it really a sound? Sound is defined as being heard...but it can also be FELT. And a tree falling would make more than a sound...it would shake the earth....

yes.....if a baby is crying in its crib and everyone else is in the living room and can't hear the baby the baby still makes a crying sound.
