NEW DEAL for the 21st century - pay 1.5x minimum wage and citizenship after 10 years of public service work on our nations bridges , roadways and dams. ( if worked post-depression and it beats a guest worker program that will only help a few make money - people talk about the lawn guy but it's the chicken plucker at the Tyson plant that they are fighting to keep )

Well we already have people repairing the infrastructure. If they get assigned to it, then American citizens are out of a job.
They employ people to do things in prison, like making license plates. But thats somewhat different.

Because the government is not the greatest thing maybe? Consider that many of them have been repairing our infastructure, doing the dirty jobs, for 10 yrs +. Maybe it has to do with rich people not wanting to pay workers more.

nope. they can pay to be in this country. my sister's old man pays about 5 thousand dollars every 3 to 5 years to be here. they have not given him amnesty yet. if we keep giving it to them on a fricken gold platter they will all want it. don't you think we are over populated already. my sister's old man is Mexican from Mexico. he even said his own race makes him sick. always wanting a free hand out. he is an older man. it's the younger ones who make the rest look bad. and this has come out of his own mouth, a Mexican from Mexico.

Lots and lots of communities in America that do not have a large presence of illegals. Somehow.. they manage to get their leaves blown, their chickens plucked, their kids cared for, their apples harvested, their sheetrock hung.
