It's true that a man likes the sound of his own name (who doesn't), but it does make things fun when a couple uses 'pet names'. He may have a name you could use to create a nickname, such as 'the Ken man', 'Greg-meister', etc. You may want to use a nickname (as if it were created spur of the moment to get his reaction). If he grins really quick when you say it you know you've got a hit. Otherwise, all the common nicknames for a love interest may be sufficient, such as 'babe', 'sweetie', 'sweetheart.', etc. Use something that you know if meaningful to him...soldier, firefighter, bounty hunter, etc. I used the first intitial of my hubby's name (my co-workers and friends teased me that 'G' had called, etc.). Have fun!!

I call my boyfriend the normal and classic "baby"... i've tried other names, but it just doesnt sound right. he calls me "crazy" as a nickname.
Nicknames are just that, a name you give to someone because of their personality, or how you see them. it will come =)

It depends on your boyfriend. I know, you probably don't want the tradtional ones like baby, boo or sweetie. Figure out what he reminds you of or how he makes you feel. I call mine Bear because when he holds me, I feel all warm and safe and he reminds me of a big, strong, sweet teddy bear.

For my ex boyfriend it was Pooky Bear or just Pooky (he came up with it), for my current boyfriend I just called him Babe or Hun, I'm still trying to think of a good one. xD

Pooh bear, because he's kinda chubby and very cute and cuddly like the bear himself.

i find tiger works for all boys, not just boyfriends. when the check out boy hands you your groceries, it's "thanks, tiger". when you go to see your mechanic, it's "got time for an oil change, tiger?" when you call your parents and your dad picks up, it's "hey tiger, can i talk to mom?"
