I REPEAT YOU JACKASS!! Look at the answers to your previous question you asked regarding the EXACT same content.

I REPEAT MY ANSWER!

a) if they have mobile to mobile then yes, otherwise it will burn your minutes

b) text has nothing to do with the carrier, but rather with a text messaging plan. If you have a text message plan, you can text whomever you want regardless of carrier. There is no such as a free text message, its only free if you have a plan and have not exceeded the allotted text messages included in that plan.

c) Direct Connect (Nextel) and ReadyLink (Sprint) are not compatible

There is a part of the Nextel/Sprint package that if you pay $5 a month you can call cell to cell (Nextel or Sprint) for "free" meaning you wont use any minutes of your package. There is also a $5 charge per month for 300 text messages or if you text more than that they have larger packages. I don't believe Sprint has a direct connect option but if you pay the $5 a month for cell to cell you won't need the direct connect option.

Talking and texting is free, but I haven't had any luck with walkie talkie working between the two. Last time I asked, the Sprint guy said they were working on it.

I believe its just talking on the phone and possibly walkie talkie but the texting rates apply unless you have unlimited texting.

the phones capabilities are only as good as their plans. if you have the right plan to talk to other sprint/nextel customers for free, then yes. if you have the right text plan to text for free, then yes. if both phones have the push to talk function and plan, then yes.

Call the company and ask the questions, they will be more than willing to tell you. It all depends on the plan you have on your phone. God bless****
