If I was single, I would say I am, if I wasn't I would say that I'm not in a relationship. But many boys ask this question to know if they can have a chance with you so if I really liked him, I would tell him that I'm looking forward for a relationship right now and if I don't like him, I would have found an excuse without hurting his/her feelings.

Well, it depends on who's asking and what my dating situation is.
If it's someone who I might want to get to know a little better, then I might say - yeah, I'm single. If it's someone I don't want to get to know better, I might say something like...I'm seeing someone but not serious...why do you ask. And the only reason why I say this is because it could be someone asking for someone else.

i would say the truth, no matter if the person liked it or not. in my case id say that im in a relationship with a man that i been searchin a life time 4. , that i love more then life itself,i been in it for almost 7 yrs n i wont hurt him in anyway or any form for anyone.
