Ok I'll go thru my experience. Getting pierced I felt a very sharp pinch for a second then it was over. The rest of the night my ear throbbed and was hot but it was in no way unbearable. The next day I could not even feel it was there. Cleaning it hurt for the first week. Any sort of bumping hurt for two weeks and then the majority of the pain was over. It still hurt being bumped but not nearly as bad as it used to. Just remember to clean it often!
Any more questions feel free to email me!

It hurts for only a moment during the procedure. What will hurt sometimes is when you are in bed and move your head/ear into a sensitive position. What will really hurt is if you don't take good care of the wound, ie: cleansing, keeping it free from infection until healed.

It hurts a little but no worse than getting your ear pierced. I have an industrial bar and the healing took forever but the actually piercing wasn't anything.â¥

It hurt when it was being pierced but not much. Just a little. Goes away soon.

There are many nerves in your upper ear (cartilage) and if you hit one it will hurt like hell. But if you dont you just here a crunch so its pretty much luck and chance.

I have mine done and it wasn't that bad. Try to put ice on it for 10 mins before its done. That will numb it up.

Pain is a subjective sense. It depends on your pain threshhold. You just need to convince yourself that It doesn't hurt.
