On a similar note I've always wondered why invoking the name of God on our currency is not the most profane thing we could ever do.

It is okay as long you are honoring Jesus, with names like "Jesus is my King" or "I Love Jesus". However, some people dishonor Jesus, which is wrong. Others claim to be Jesus, which is both blasphemous and incorrect. This applies to anyone, not just Christians. However, it is best for people to tell the truth. For example, an atheist should not claim to serve Jesus.

Blasphemy? uummm...better called insulting to God, but only if its something like what I saw the other day: "Jesus is gay" - Its just common sense. Look, the Scriptures are clear in that God has feelings and emotions - If its insulting or vulgar, I'm quite sure he's not gonna feel real good about it - esspecially coming from his own children who he died on the cross for - but not to worry; he's coming back with that rod of iron, and for those who think its funny to insult him, get ready to bend over, friend. correction is coming, and disipline will be taught.

Depends how they use it.

"I love Jesus" or "Jesus freak" or "Jesus is great" are all ok.

"Die Jesus" or "I hate Jesus" or "Jesus sux" isn't.
