I have been in that situation and the two dudes ended up flipping a quarter for me because I "could not make up my mind." I knew what I wanted though when I smiled and basically shouted a big "woohoo" when the quarter landed. I guess I was just too gutless to admit that I really wanted the guy that won the toss. Look deep into your heart and you'll find the answer.

Im kinda in that situation right now. Ive been with my boyfriend for a year and a half and I do love him. But I met this other guy at a Christmas party and he was very nice to me. We're just friends now and we go hang out once and a while but sometimes it seems all i can think about is the other guy (not my bf) I feel bad for doing it but at the same time hes just so caring and nice to me and he really doesnt have to be- If he were a jackass I'd still probably be friends with him...but anyway...Its hard to figure out who your really 'meant' to be with. Dont you just wish we could have multiple partners and everyone would be OK with it? I dont know....I guess you just have to get to know both of them untill it hits you like a brick wall and you say to yourself "oh my god, i totally know who it is.....why didnt I see it before."
I dont know if any of that really helped or if i just babbled, but I guess all you have to do is make EDUCATED decisions. No plane jumping!

I have been in this situation. I was with my high school sweetheart and broke up with him for someone else. My feelings for "sweetheart" felt just like the one's I was having with new guy. Except when I was with one or the other I wanted to be with the other one!! AAhhh. Believe, me I know what you're feeling. Finally, I kicked high school sweetheart to the curb and just spent some time alone. Guess who I married? New guy......So, only you know what your truly feeling. You may have chemistry with one and not the other. One may open the car door for you and the other burps and doesn't say excuse me. Figure out what's most important to you. And, who says you have to decide between the two anyway. Good Luck!!!!!

Or when is one "Hedging their bets"?
You're correct, you can't be "in love" with two people at the same time.
The way I think you can tell is which one are you dreaming about? Which one, if they said, "Later", would make you the most hurt. Upset means little. The one who didn't call you because they're busy or has to go away leaving you the most empty inside is the one you're actually in love with.
The other one is an insurance policy.

well who ever told you that you cant love more than one person at a time...lied to you. Now the hard part is...as far as relationships go....you just gotta decide who you get the most from and who you give the most to. A relationship has to be give and give. so when i have a hard time deciding...i think....who do i work the best with, the most!
good luck hun!

i disagree. it is possible to be in love with two people, especially if you get different things from your relationships with each of them. if you feel that you are not okay with loving two people and need to be in a monogamous relationship, then think about it in terms of sacrificing your relationship with one for the other. which one could you not bear to be without? which one is worth giving up the other? which one truly deserves your heart?

I have been there... it's awful, but if you don't sit & make a list of good & bads on paper where it's visual you'll have an even harder time. The thing is that you'll have to choose just ONE! & you could choose wrong, that's the kicker... Go with your gutt, that never lies.

I think it is possible to be in love with two people at the same time.
But, it isn't healthy. You could lose in the long run.
Be patient.
Be honest.
I hope you are not married to one of them.
