Which denomination? For the most part, a lot of churches want you to take premarital classes to make sure you really want to marry this person. But it does depend what kind of church. Examples: Baptist, Lutheran, Methodist, Nazarene, Wesleyan...so on and so forth. These are all christian churches but slightly different on marriage requirements. Good Luck! I would just call the church and talk to the pastor.

To be married, and to have a wedding are two separate things.

To have a wedding usually requires showing up, filling out forms, paying some money, and giving a little bit of notice. Some churches that are less "slot machine" actually ask if you believe in God, and require at least one session of meaningful premarital counseling that includes training in conflict resolution, and informing of some of the cultural booby traps.

To be married requires more, but it doesnt sound like that is your question.

depend on the church. Talk to the senior pastor. Some churches will not marry an unbelveier with a beleiver. Some churches require pre-marital counseling. all depends on the church and their by-laws.

Depends on the church. Some churches will allow you to rent just facility out, others will require that you be a member or at least have their pastor perform the church service. Just call the church office and ask, they will give you all the information you need.

It all depends on the denomination. MOST churches are going to require you to go through marital counseling (usually w/ the officiant). Catholic churches have about a 1yr+ requirement to meet with a counselor beforehand. I was married in a Lutheran church and we pulled it off in 3 months. Our Baptist church requires to meet about 6 times ahead of time.

All in all - it really depends on WHO is officiating WHERE. Simple as that.

First you cannot have been married in the church before. You MUST attend marriage "meetings" for about a year before the wedding date. One of you MUST be Christian.

Most churches just require that you be a member.

Christian services such as Methodist, Protestant, Presbyterian, etc is quite simple. Just meet with the Pastor and express your desire to wed. You can choose to set a date.

If it is Catholic, it's a big deal. You must attend Pre-Cana classes, and your spouse to be must be baptized in the Catholic Church.

Good luck.

I would ask the pastor or priest of the church where you are thinking about getting married what is required.

And you don't have to be a VIRGIN. I wasn't !

This marriage is declared to have befell on the 0.33 day of the week. this is yet yet another occasion of a loss of familiarity with Jewish custom. A maiden is married on the fourth day and a widow is married on the 5th day in accordance to the mishnah. (Kethuboth 2a) the 1st 3 days of the week have been for making waiting for the marriage dinner occasion. this is yet yet another occasion of the falsehood of the e book the christians examine. there is yet another curious wording in verse 13. "And the Jew's Passover grew to become into to hand." this is a ordinary guiding principle of exegesis that one extra word reward interest. Why using the word "Jew?" there is by no skill an adjective asserting which passover interior the whole Talmud or Tanach. So, why here? in straightforward terms this one place? it sort of feels to point that the guy writing grew to become into no longer a Jew. Strike 2. Now, for verse 17 on the so referred to as courting between this passage and psalm sixty 9. For the envy of your place has gobbled me. Ahh, now a courting in Hebrew. Kinat is the word for envy used in this verse. the basis is Cana. enable's end the verse. And the disgraces of people who scorn you have fallen upon me. who's talking? David. via this time representative of Judah. And the residing house of David (the temple) grew to become into being disgraced via one exterior of Judaism who scorned it. (the guy the christians worship. And we've got the reason in the back of the instructions of the guy the christians worship. ENVY. there is yet yet another difference. adult males and females persons do no longer mingle for the period of Jewish weddings. So, the guy the christians worship ought to no longer have spoken to his mom. So, what's the importance of adjusting the water that purifies the Jews to wine? Water is symbolic of the Torah. Wine is symbolic of information. A wine that makes one inebriated, it quite is that the good wine does is symbolic of idolatry. curiously that because of the fact of envy, the guy the christians worship replaced the Torah to a information based on the techniques of guy. Shalom, Gershon
