either she's depressed, (that happens take her to a vet who can diagnose it) or, she has 6th sense and your house is haunted.

good luck

First and foremost - make sure the dog has enough drinking water!

A dog can go without food and in fact it is a good healthy thing every once in a while, to starve a dog for 24 hours and only give them a bone .
The disorientated part is the most worrying.
Groggy?
Listing to the side?
Drunk symptoms? (could the animal have gotten to someones christmas stash?)
Any of these i think i'd get to a vet fairly quickly and hope your insurance is up to date.
Just not going into certain rooms or outside is more indicative of a psychological response to certain smells or sounds or even feelings about those places.
This is actually similar to my welsh collie who managed to get quite a thick splinter up her nose. She avoided all the rooms with bare wood and wouldnt go too far from me as she was in pain!
shw had rubbed the place a bit too much and it started to weep so i checked and found the splinter. she was fine after.
Watch her and gently check her over for injuries of any sort or sore patches, if theres no change take her to a vet.
Hope everything goes well

the looking at things that are not there makes me think she may have an ear infection as fluid movement in the ears causes them to move their heads to the side (often very quickly as if they are focussing on something). All illnesses can make animals clingy and want to hide at the same time. Id have her checked out by a vet.

Degenerative Myelopathy (DM)
Although DM has been reported in other large breeds, the disease is relatively frequent in the German Shepherd breed, suggesting that there is a genetic predisposition for German Shepherds in developing DM. The age at onset is 5 to 14 years. DM is caused by an autoimmune disease attacking the nervous systems leading to progressive neural tissue damage. In many ways, DM is similar to what has been discovered about the pathogenesis of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in humans. In fact, DM is now known as MS in dogs.

This could be illness, epilepsy, a brain tumour, or a reaction to prescription medication or illegal drugs.

Has anyone in the house lost their stash? If they have you need to know what the dog ate and how much, and you need to tell the vet. E's, cannabis or LSD are very dangerous to dogs.
The vet doesn't care about legality but will need to know what drugs are involved to treat your dog.

Please get him to the vet asap.

I would first get her checked out by a vet to rule out any thing physical, if she checks out I would investigate outside, maybe some one is messing with her or there may be a strange dog in the area....but it is very important to get a vet check up if she is refusing food....good luck!

It sounds like she is sick and needs to go to the vet. A fever can cause the type of "Dimensia" you're describing, as can blindness.

Have you vaccinated your GSD, if not do it now.(Canine distemper) The sneezing is most common in GSDs ie `ULCERATION OF THE RHINARIUM`.See your vet asap.

Good luck to you + your dog.
