my friend knew i liked this really hot guy. So she went and asked him out for herself. and she lied to me and said he asked her out. Should i still be her friend. Cause i am really mad at her cause every time i am around she talks about him and braggs. What should i do.

Li'l miss. Did you say your friend? Since when some one that acts like that is a friend? She may be your fellow student, neighbor, coworker or whatever, but not your friend.
Your FRIEND will sacrifice anything to see you happy, and you are suposed to do the same, but not the way it has happened. You can't choose your family, but you can choose your friends.
In a respectful way forget about her, find real friends and move on, after all, when he discovers the beauty inside you, he will want to come to you, and if not, you'll find someone that will appreciate you. Don't let anger overtake you. Take it easy and you'll be Ok.

Nobody deserves a friend like that, she is obviously jealous of you and very insecure about herself. Find some other friends that you can trust

Theres a problem with your first sentance. "my friend knew i liked this really hot guy." Friends don't stab you in the back like that. Your probably to good a person to have "friends" like that, dump them and find smoe more that will watch your back.

I personally don't think that she deserves a person like you to be her friend. She did something to break your trust for her, and in order to make sure that she does not do something like that again, either stop being friends with her, or stop teling her your secrets.
