You should probably remove the piercing. #1 if the man who pierced you was high on drugs, he most likely didn't sterilize the equipment he used to pierce your tongue. I would make sure that I got a blood test immediately to make sure he didn't give you HIV or Hepatitis (and I would be very worried about the Hepatitis) #2 there are major blood vessels and nerves in the tongue that if he nicked or get infected can cause you many problems. #3 Wearing a tongue piercing can cause you to ruin your lower front teeth. I have personally had to pull several lower front teeth because people hit them with the bars and they lost all the tissue along the tongue side of the teeth. The constant hitting of the teeth by the piercing causes the teeth to loosen in the bone and become infected over the course of time.
I am all for piercings (and have many myself) but the tongue is not one of them and I believe that they cause many long term problems that will not be worth it to you in the end. But if nothing else, please go and get tested because I would hate to see you with a deadly disease due to someone else's negligence.

OK its 1/4 a teaspoon of sea salt to 8oz of distilled water and your probably gonna wanna leave the salt water in your mouth for 10min twice a day. Don't take the piercing out!! Because even if things weren't clean when he pierced you and it gets infected you don't want the piercing closing and the infection to have no way out of your body, it needs to drain out so you will need the jewelry in. My best advice? Go to the best piercing place you know tell them the story and have them tell you exactly what to do that is what i did in a similar situation.
