parents believe in God and there children believe in Santa Claus. kids believing in Santa is because the lack of knowledge. even though some declare to know the truth they still follow pagan traditions. for the most part, people have there own reasons why they believe in Xmas and in Santa Claus.instead of believing in the traditional way people simply add or take away from it.to suit there desire.

And why on earth must the two be mutually exclusive??
As a child, I believed in both.....
The curious thing is, that when I stopped believing in Santa, it wasn't too many more years, before I stopped believing in God.....
