We have an 11 month old daughter and are moving into a home that has the old-fashioned wall heaters. Any advice on how to baby-proof them?

I would try setting something in front of them that is heat proof at first, show her them and tell her "hot" or "owy" if she does touch it, I don't think they get hot enough to actually burn bad, but may scare her enough to learn to stay away. My 20 month old daughter listens pretty good when I say "not for babies" or "that's mommy's" she'll eventually get used to them being there and pay no attention. Good luck on your move! Especially with a little one!!

I was trying to think and have come up with the bowed fireplace screening, maybe it could be attached to the wall so it couldn't fall over. It should bow out about 18 inches I think, so she shouldn't be able to reach it.

Good Luck and Happy New Year.

I was also thinking of a fireplace screen. Large enough not to get too hot, but very small openings so her fingers won't fit. Secure it to the wall so it won't tip over.
