Where do you draw the line? The same argument could be made for religious shows, many health shows, and (let us not forget) political shows. Whether it is a matter of "let the buyer beware" or a true belief system, you have to leave some level of common sense to the viewer's discretion. We can't have the nanny state telling us what to believe about EVERYTHING.

Some psychics annoy me, but we have no proof that some of them aren't really psychic, so how would you decide on the disclaimer? (BTW, a "disclaimer" would NOT say it's an act, it would only say tht the radio show "doesn't necessarily support it/agree w/it, etc.)
And if you put up something like that for psychics, then it should be put up for ANYTHING claiming the existence of something unprovable, like "God"! So, imagine the televised evangelist shows and Catholic masses, w/a disclaimer: "The above claims regarding Jesus, God or any other deity are strictly the beliefs of this church and do not reflect the views of the station"! LOL
All HELL would break loose!

Should be, yes. But one can now get a license to be a "Psychic" and you don't have to use the disclaimer then.
90% of them are Entertainment Only. But I doubt the FBI or others would be using psychics if they were all completely fake. And that leads us to what a psychic can and can not Really do. Problem is, the 90% fake ones is what has determined what the image of one really is.
No, even if I were a psychic, I wouldn't go to Las Vegas. Not for ALL of the money it holds.

No there should not be a disclaimer an idiot should be able to do as he believes it is not our place to decide who are idiots if we started doing that we would have to close down all the Churches and we don't want that do we. Oh I know some of you do but that's just silly. xx

if i needed a disclaimer to make me feel better, then i have an issue with myself. if i believed that people needed to be told what is false and what is real..... then everything would need a disclaimer put up.
