That is so cute. O.K. we don't like to admit it but guys are shy and on top of that allot of us are hesitant to do anything because of the whole "He made me do it" thing that some girls resort to when there backed into a corner. If you feel you need to "hint" then you are just playing games. And when you play games, there will be winners and losers.
That's one of the reasons mature adults don't like to play these kinds of sexual games. Adults should come right out with their feelings. Even horney young men, with raging hormones can be comfortable with limits, as long as they know what these limits are.
If you don't play games with your passions, then no one loses.
