What do you think I should do?

This girl I really fancy keeps sending me text messages. Im not sure if she fancies me or not! We work together. We were out on or Christmas night out the other night. We got on well together but I didnt make a move. We talk alot together at work and we have spent time alone were she has said she has enjoyed talking with me. The day after the Christmas night out she txt me to see if I enjoyed myself and was making jokes about the night. I txt back. She txt me again and I thought sod this I gotta drop a hint that I like her. So I txt her saying how well she looked on the night out. She txt straight back thanking me for the compliment. Then on Xmas day she txt me wishing me happy xmas.

I believe she has a boyfriend but that a break up is on the cards if not already happened. I know I should just ask her out but I'm afraid to rush in too soon and spoil things. Especially cos of the work and boyfriend situation. Should I wait and keep doing what I'm doing or what?

In my opinion I think you should ask her to dinner(let her know it's a date) if she accepts then that is the first step.If she has a boyfriend she will decline(unless she cheats). While on your date if you had a good time ask her if she would like to go another date.That should start the ball rolling. If she declines the first date and you are still confused ask her point blank if she likes you more than a friend or if she has a boyfriend.She may be shy herself. But if this is ment to be don't waste time too much time gets wasted when it can be put to good use making memories!
If you have to txt her and ask her out that is a step for the better.People tend to be less shy when writing a letter or txting or typing on the comp.She should tell you the thruth.

She maybe just as shy as you and yet she knows you like her the thing is does she see you as a friend is she afraid that work could get strained if you tried a relationship and it failed.
She has a guy but your attention is making her feel special and this is good but she probably has a load of what if questions running through her head so like the others say ask her or stay the friend you are but personally i would attempt to have many friend meetings and allow the relationship to progress naturally ask her to a movie you would really like to see (even if you dont ) but tell her you hate going alone and does she want to come with you. texting her well drop in the text that your bored and does she want to grab a drink you could do with some fun company for a change, you know the relationship with her guy is naff well ask her how she is feeling and when she moans about his laziness or whatever then text back you couldnt understand why hes being this way if you was her guy you would definetly treat her better and that he dont realise how good hes got it with her

I would say that you should approach her and ask her out. what is the worst thang she can say - no. But if you dont try you will never know what the possibilities are. So Give it a shot and ask her out to something simple like a movie. Good luck and I hope it works out for you.

I'd kept flirting with her until I had a definite answer to whether she wanted something more.
But, if you just can't wait, try to figure out what her situation is. whether she's still with the guy or not and if is looking for someone.
