Im having trouble doing it. Suggestions?

Sand it a bit to remove some of the chrome platting. Then, leave it outside. You'll want to re-grip it in the spring before using it.

The club is probably a high grade of stainless, like 17-4. If it is, you have quite a job ahead of you. Why not just sandblast the face to get the extra traction you seek? Or get a tool that cleans out the grooves and go to town with it?

Is it really worth the extra spin? I guess leave it out in the rain or a moist garage for a week But its simply lame in my opinion I know their designed to rust but why get one of those clubs.
